Tryavna is a town in the region of Gabrovo, Central Northern Bulgaria. It is the administrative and economic center of the municipality Tryavna. The city's population according to the census in 2011 was 9426 inhabitants, making it the third largest settlement in the area. Preserved Renaissance architecture and cultural heritage of this period attracted many tourists.
