Banjol is another great place, known for its three sandy beaches all named Padova, as well as a beautiful seaside promenade linking it to the Old Town of Rab, where you can pick up local produce and enjoy opulent local gastronomy. We recommend visiting Banjol on the 5th of August, for the holiday of their patron saint, Santa Lucia, locally known as "Šištovica" (pronounced scheeschtovitza).
