Baska - a village in Croatia, in the southern part of the island of Krk. Baska is located on the shore of a large bay, jutting out into the southern tip of the island of Krk. In the village begins road leading towards the town of Krk, Baska also connected ferry to the village of Lopar in the north of the island of Rab. Baska - one of the popular places of beach holidays northern Croatia. In the village Jurandvor in 1851 it was found Bašćanska stove, one of the most famous monuments of Glagolitic script, which got its name from the town of Baska.
