Brijuni - a group of islands in the northern Adriatic Sea, near the west coast of Istria, belonging to Croatia. On October 27, 1983 is a national park.
Brijuni consist of 14 islands and reefs. The coastline is heavily indented. The islands are separated from the mainland by the Strait of Fažana and located 6 km from the city of Pula, the local administrative center. The territory of Brijuni, unlike most of the other islands of the Adriatic, is flat and covered with subtropical vegetation.
