Mlini is located on the area named Parish of Dubrovnik, characterized by dense Mediterranean vegetation. It is only 11km away from Dubrovnik. This beautiful place has its own river, Zavrelje, shallow pebble beaches and protected coves, floral gardens and promenades, hotels, villas and summer houses. The name Mlini comes from the mills (mlin) which were used to obtain water from Zavrelje. In the past, the town was known as Molina.
