Sveti Filip i Jakov is located 3 km northwest of Biograd na Moru and 25 km south of Zadar. The city is located on the coast opposite the island of Pasman.
The village is from the days when it was still part of Yugoslavia, to remove the name Filipjakov of religious origin. In the 12th century, the small church of St. Philip and Jacob (St. Philip and Jacob) was destroyed. From this church the place gets its name. Today the city thrives on tourism.
