Bremen is a city in northern Germany. Its official name is the Freie und Hanzeshtat Bremen because of its membership in the medieval Hanseatic Union. It situated on the River Weser. Bremen once affectionately called "Nordic Rome" because of enormous historic and architectural heritage, which is locked between its squares, streets and coastlines. Bremen is also the oldest German coastal town. Located in the northwestern German eponymous province in Bremen flowing river Weser. The whole city covers an area 325 square kilometers.
