Dresden is a city in Germany, the administrative center of Saxony, located about 20 km. from the Czech border. It is an important industrial, transport and cultural centers in Germany. The city center, which was almost completely rebuilt after bombing in the Second World War, is situated on the left bank of r.Elba. That is why the city is known as "Florence on the Elbe". Dresden is a city of art and culture. By 2009 the Dresden Elbe Valley entered in the UNESCO list.
