Camp Korana is part of the tourist complexes located in the Plitvice Lake National Park – a UNESCO world heritage since 1979 and one of Croatia’s most popular and spectacular tourist attractions.
The camp is located 6 kilometres from Entrance 1 to the Park on a plateau above the Korana River canyon. Capable of accommodating 2,500 guests, camp Korana provides a variety of facilities including a self service and á la carte restaurant with summer terrace that can seat 250 people. There is also a coffee bar, barbecue area and a small store.
The pleasant surroundings of the Plitvice Lakes with its abundant greenery and the Korana River in close vicinity make for an ideal holiday for those interested activities such as walking, jogging, cycling and swimming.
Railway connections can be found in Karlovac, 90 kilometres from the Park, or Zagreb, 140 kilometres from the Lakes. There are approximately 30 buses running daily to and from Zagreb and South Croatia.
