The islet of Prisnjak is only some 300 m from the western coast of the island of Murter. In 1886, a lighthouse was built on the islet in order to make it easier for seamen to navigate in the Murter archipelago.
Accommodation
Prisnjak, lined with stone walls and pine woods, is the most beautiful islet in the Murter archipelago. There is one large apartment and a spacious stone terrace in the lighthouse. It is surrounded by pine trees and is ideal for an active holiday.
Beach
Concrete steps make it easy both for children and adults to enter the water. On the other side of the islet, there are several beaches that are not suitable for small children. The surrounding waters are very shallow and warm during the summer, meaning that the average water temperature is higher than in most other places in Dalmatia. Therefore, swimming on Prisnjak is possible even in October.
