This luxurious 5-star hotel is situated right on the pedestrianised Váci utca shopping street next to the Elisabeth Bridge and the Danube River. Part of the famous Buddha-Bar collection, the hotel occupies a historic 19th-century palace.
The stylish rooms of the Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest Klotild Palace feature Asian Colonial design and offer LED-HD TVs with a multi-media connectivity hub. Additional amenities include a Nespresso coffee machine with an assortment of capsules, free WiFi access, and a laptop-size safe.
Tea and coffee are available 24 hours a day in the lobby bar, which also serves a range of fine pastries and finger food. The glass-roofed Klotild Bar & Lounge at the top of the building can be rented for private events and provides fascinating views over the city.
The on-site restaurant with a large Buddha statue offers fusion cuisine from Asia and the Pacific Rim. The Siddharta Café serves international cuisine and local specialities, as well as breakfast à la carte and in buffet style.
Spa facilities include a Finnish and an infrared sauna, a steam cabin, and a wide range of massages and Ayurvedic treatments. There is also a beauty lounge, yoga rooms, and a Zen Garden for yoga sessions. State-of-the art fitness facilities are available as well.
The Grand Market Hall and the Gellért Bath can be reached on foot in 10 minutes from the Buddha-Bar Hotel Klotild Palace.
In 2013, the hotel received the award for Best International Hotel Interior from the London-based International Hotel Awards. It is the first hotel in Hungary to receive such an award.
