Bali is a tropical island located 8 degrees south of the equator, in the heart of the Indonesian archipelago - the largest in the world, consisting of about 17,500 islands. Form a chain with Java to the west and Lombok to the east. Because of its rich history, culture and the arts - dance, sculpture and painting, beautiful beaches, nature and tropical climate, Bali is considered one of the most beautiful places in the world. With tens of thousands of temples and pagodas Bali is known as the "Island of the thousand temples". The capital of Bali is Denpasar.
