Bintan is an island in Indonesia with capital Tanjung Pinang. It is located close to Singapore and Batam is an island of Riau archipelago and the Indonesian province of Riau. The island has three ports and airport serving mainly tourists arriving from Singapore. The island is popular with its resorts, the most famous of which is the Bintan Resorts area of about 300 hectares, and Trikora beaches, which are located in the eastern part.
